Round 4 of the County Senior Hurling League saw us travel to play newly promoted Clonea on Thursday evening. Played in front of a large home crowd this was an exciting game played with intensity, skill and pace. Referee Michael O Brien got proceedings underway at 7:15pm.
We were ahead at the break by four points with our goal coming from Killian Fitzgerald.
The second half was unrelenting with scores a plenty. Eoghan Reilly found the net again to extend the margin. Well done to all on a fine performance. We now move on to four points on the league table.
