Twinning Club for World Games.

The Renault GAA World Games 2019 will take place at the WIT Arena, Carriganore, Waterford from July 28th- August 1st with the finals taking place at Croke Park on August 2nd. The Tournament will focus on Hurling, Gaelic Football, Ladies Football and Camogie with categories for Irish- born players and non- Irish born players( Native-born). It is estimated that up to 100 teams from 7 continents and 5,000 people will converge on Waterford for the event.

Passage Hurling Club did submit an expression of interest to act as a "host club" and were successful. Details were released at a meeting in The Park Hotel, Dungarvan on Thursday April 25th with representatives from local clubs, Waterford County Board and staff from Croke Park including Tallow native Pat Daly in attendance. Further details will be finalised in May but at present we will play hosts to a team/s on Tuesday July 30th from 7:30pm in a Cultural & Social Capacity.
