World Games 2019.

Over 90 teams will arrive in Waterford for the Renault/GAA World Games which will be stage at the WIT Arena from Sunday July 28th until Thursday August 1st. Players from 7 Continents will play on 7 Pitches in 4 codes. All the players will stay at WIT but will take part in a social, cultural evening on Tuesday July 30th.

Milwaukee Hurling are twinned with Passage and will be our guests on the evening. A barbeque, music, teas, cakes will form part of the event. All are welcome to attend the event from 7:30pm. Feel free to wear club colours on the occassion

Milwaukee are from Wisconsin and play in the Heartland Division of the USGAA. They are one the biggest teams in the USA and have been rewarded for same by the GAA.

Our round three clash with De La Salle will go ahead in Walsh Park at 18:30hrs on Saturday August 13th. The group placings will then determine the preliminary quarter final ties.

Victories against St Saviours and Naomh Pol have secured runners up spot in group1 of the JJ Murphy sponsored Eastern Junior Hurling championship. The quarter final is listed for Thursday August 18th
